Distribution & Sales Representative (Petrochemical / Lubricants)

📍 Location: Cape Town (Remote)
💰 Salary: R58 000 TCTC p/m (includes basic, travel allowance, cell phone allowance, provident fund, medical aid contribution)
Additional: Fuel Card provided
🕒 Working Hours: Standard business hours with flexibility required

We are looking for a driven and experienced Distributor Sales Representative to join a reputable company in the lubricants sector. This remote role is ideal for a self-starter with technical knowledge and a passion for customer relationships and sales growth.

More About the Company

Our client is a well-established player in the lubricants and petrochemical industry. They are focused on providing premium products and technical solutions across Southern Africa and are seeking someone to help grow and maintain key distributor and customer relationships in the Cape Town region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key accounts, drive volume sales of flagship and premium products

  • Travel to customer sites (long-distance travel required)

  • Identify sales opportunities, implement marketing and promotional campaigns

  • Assist with account and debtor management, including collections

  • Update CRM (Salesforce) and provide accurate sales pipeline updates

  • Conduct competitor and market analysis; submit monthly reports (wins, losses, benchmarking)

  • Present weekly pipeline reviews

  • Provide product upgrades, training, and customer support

  • Collaborate with internal teams for service excellence

Minimum Requirements

  • A degree or a Technical College qualification

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar role within the lubricant/petrochemical industry

  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)

  • MS Office proficiency

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede

  • Bestuur kliëntereekse en dryf verkope van sleutel- en premieprodukte

  • Reis na kliënte (langafstand reis word vereis)

  • Identifiseer verkoopsgeleenthede en implementeer promosies

  • Bestuur debiteure en help met invorderings

  • Hou Salesforce op datum en verskaf akkurate "pipeline"-opdaterings

  • Mark- en mededingeranalise en maandverslae (suksesse, verliese, pryse)

  • Weeklikse voorlegging van verkope op die pyplyn

  • Bied produkvoorleggings en tegniese opleiding aan kliënte

  • Werk saam met interne spanne vir uitmuntende diens

Minimum Vereistes

  • 'n Graad of 'n Tegniese kwalifikasie

  • Minimum 3 jaar ondervinding in soortgelyke rol in die smeermiddelbedryf

  • CRM ervaring (verkieslik Salesforce)

  • MS Office vaardigheid

  • Geldige bestuurslisensie en bereidwilligheid om te reis
