💼 Bookkeeper
Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to accurately process daily transactions in accounting records according to audit standards. 

📍 Location: Silverton
💰 Salary: R20,000 – R30,000
🕰️ Working Hours: Retail hours, Monday to Saturday
🪑 Available Positions: 1

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process daily transactions in accounting records according to audit standards.
  • Submit statutory documentation and reports (e.g., EMP201, EMP501, VAT201, Pension, Compensation Commissioner, NCR, STATSSA, etc.).
  • Process Payroll Data in accounting records for the companies.
  • VIP processing of small company payroll.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly and prepare management reports.
  • Reconcile Pastel balances for audit purposes, coordinate, and complete.
  • Upload bank transactions for payment by the financial manager daily.
  • Provide necessary information to relevant colleagues for processing and reconciliation tasks.
  • Liaise and organize information and transactions in an orderly manner.
  • Perform any other reporting duties required by management (e.g., daily bank balances and other reports).
  • Prepare inter-company invoices and reconciliation.
  • Perform any additional tasks required by management.

Job Requirements:

  • BCom Accounting degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Proficiency in Pastel, VIP, and Arch Retail systems
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual

Verantwoordelikhede:

  • Akkuraat daagliks prosesering van transaksies in rekeningkundige rekords volgens ouditstandaarde.
  • Indiening van statutêre dokumentasie en opgawes (bv. EMP201, EMP501, VAT201, pensioen, Compensation Commissioner, NCR, STATSSA, ens).
  • Prosesering van Payroll Data in rekeningkundige rekords vir die maatskappye.
  • VIP prosesering van klein maatskappy se Payroll.
  • Rekonsiliasie van rekeninge maandeliks en opstel van bestuurstate.
  • Rekonsilering van Pastel balanse vir ouditdoeleindes, koördineer en voltooi.
  • Oplaai van banktransaksies vir betaling deur die finansiële bestuurder daagliks.
  • Verskaf nodige inligting aan relevante kollegas vir prosesering en rekonsiliasie take.
  • Liasering en organisering van inligting en transaksies op 'n geordende manier.
  • Uitvoer van enige ander verslagdoening vereis deur bestuur (bv. daaglikse bankbalanse en ander verslae).
  • Berei inter-maatskappy fakture en rekonsiliasie voor.
  • Verrig enige ander take vereis deur bestuur.

Pos Vereistes:

  • BCom Rekeningkunde graad of verwante ervaring
  • Minimum van 2+ jaar ondervinding as Boekhouer
  • Vaardigheid in Pastel, VIP, basiese Excel en Arch Retail stelsels
  • Ondervinding in Pastel Business Intelligence is 'n voordeel.
  • Sterk aandag aan detail en akkuraatheid in alle take
  • Vermoë om onafhanklik en as deel van 'n span te werk
  • Betroubaar en betyds
