Accounting Administrator

Our client is seeking a precise and reliable Accounting Administrator to manage financial processes and administration within a construction and manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong administrative background and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments – including Finance, Sales, Inventory Control, and HR.

📍 Location: Pretoria Central
💰 Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 (depending on experience)
🕗 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30

Key Responsibilities:

Finance:

  • Processing of supplier invoices and month-end creditors reconciliation

  • Monthly financial statements submitted by the 10th of each month

  • Daily cashbook postings and verification of bank statements

  • Authorizing and processing credit notes

  • Ensuring all sales are invoiced for the month

  • Emailing of invoices, statements, and customer feedback forms

  • All related financial filing and documentation

Sales Support:

  • Monitoring the installation list and confirming deposits

  • Preparing sales and installation files

  • Invoicing and requesting delivery payments

  • Ensuring 30% payment is received before installation

  • Creating quotations on Palladium (when needed)

Human Resources:

  • Calculating overtime hours

  • Processing payroll via SAGE VIP

  • Managing payslip control and staff record filing

General Administration:

  • Administration tasks including WCC reports and BEE documentation

Inventory:

  • Maintaining daily stock lists on Excel

  • Typing and printing labels for stock and offcuts

  • Consumables stock control in collaboration with the QC department

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate and a relevant Degree or Diploma

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Proficient in PASTEL, SAGE, or similar accounting systems

  • Own transport and a valid driver’s license

  • Willingness to assist and work within the factory environment when needed

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Hoofverantwoordelikhede:

Finansies:

  • Verwerking van verskafferfakture en maand einde skuldeisersversoening

  • Maandelikse finansiële state teen die 10de van elke maand

  • Daaglikse kontantboekinskrywings en bankstate kontrole

  • Outoriseer en verwerk kredietnotas

  • Verifieer dat alle verkope vir die maand gefaktureer is

  • Fakture, state en kliënteterugvoer-vorms per e-pos uitstuur

  • Alle finansiële lêerwerk

Verkope Ondersteuning:

  • Kontrole van installasielys en bevestiging van deposito’s

  • Opstel van verkoop- en installasielêers

  • Faktureer en versoek afleweringsbetalings

  • Verseker 30% betaling voor installasie

  • Kwotasies op Palladium (wanneer nodig)

Menslike Hulpbronne:

  • Berekening van oortyd

  • Verwerking van salarisse op SAGE VIP

  • Kontrole van betaalstate en lêeradministrasie

Algemene Administrasie:

  • Administrasie insluitend WCC verslae en BEE-dokumentasie

Voorraad:

  • Daaglikse voorraadlys op Excel

  • Tipe en etikette vir voorraad en afsnye druk

  • Voorraadbeheer van verbruiksgoedere in samewerking met QC

Vereistes:

  • Matriek én ‘n toepaslike Graad of Diploma

  • Minimum 3 jaar ervaring in 'n soortgelyke rol

  • Kennis van PASTEL, SAGE of soortgelyke rekenkundige stelsels

  • Eie vervoer en geldige bestuurslisensie

  • Bereidheid om ook die fabriek te besoek en te ondersteun

  • Sterk organisatoriese, kommunikasie- en tydbestuursvaardighede
