💼 Assistant to Head of Department (CLI)

💰 Salary: R15 000 – R18 000 (based on experience)
🕗 Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 | Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily schedule and calendar, including meetings and appointments.
Handle emails, calls, and messages, responding on behalf of the HOD when appropriate.
Facilitate and manage communication between the HOD and internal teams, ensuring clarity and timely information flow.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the department.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the team and departmental objectives.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualification:
Matric certificate (a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous).
Experience:
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Sleutelaanspreeklikhede:
Bestuur die daaglikse skedule en kalender, insluitend vergaderings en afsprake.
Hanteer e-posse, oproepe en boodskappe, en reageer namens die Departementshoof waar toepaslik.
Fasiliteer en bestuur kommunikasie tussen die Departementshoof en interne spanne om tydige en duidelike inligtingsvloei te verseker.
Berei verslae, voorleggings en ander dokumentasie voor soos vereis.
Verskaf algemene administratiewe en operasionele ondersteuning aan die afdeling.
Voer ander ad hoc-pligte uit soos benodig om die span en departement se doelwitte te ondersteun.
Posvereistes:
Minimum Kwalifikasie:
Matrieksertifikaat (’n relevante tersiêre kwalifikasie sal voordelig wees).
Ondervinding:
Bewese ondervinding as ’n Persoonlike Assistent, Uitvoerende Assistent of soortgelyke rol.
Sterk organisatoriese en tydsbestuursvaardighede.
Vaardigheid in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Vermoë om te multitask en aan te pas in ’n vinnige, professionele omgewing.
