Administrative and Accounting Assistant
Location:Pretoria East
Salary: R15 000 – R17 000 per month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 Every second Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00

💼 About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and well-organized Administrative and Accounting Assistant operating as the receptionist. This role involves accurate financial data processing, support to the sales team, and managing various administrative tasks in a precise and timely manner.The person will work as the receptionist, welcoming clients and visitors and answering the phone.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration
Monthly processing of debtors and creditors
Processing and maintaining client data
Cost calculation of debtor invoices using Xero
Office Administration
Handling telephone calls and visitors
Issuing and updating valuation certificates
Monitoring the status of active job cards
Maintaining the register for second-hand jewellery
Ordering office and packaging supplies, as well as selected stock items
Finalizing and checking completed jewellery pieces ready for collection
Providing support to sales consultants
Updating VAT264 forms
Keeping track of the daily gold price and exchange rates
General filing and record keeping
🎓 Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Matric (A diploma in accounting is highly advantageous)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an admin role with financial exposure
Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Experience with Xero (highly advantageous)
Experience with Notion and Google Drive (highly advantageous)
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license

Ons is op soek na ’n dinamiese en georganiseerde Administratiewe en Rekeningkundige Assistent en ook funksioneer as n ontvangs. Hierdie rol behels die akkurate verwerking van finansiële data, ondersteuning aan die verkoopspan, en die hantering van verskeie administratiewe take op ’n presiese en tydige wyse.Die persoon sal as ontvangsdame werk, waar sy kliënte en besoekers verwelkom, die telefoon beantwoord.

Finansiële Administrasie
Maandelikse verwerking van debiteure en krediteure
Verwerking en onderhoud van kliëntedata
Kosteberekening van debiteurefakture op Xero
Kantooradministrasie
Hantering van telefoonoproepe en besoekers
Uitreik en opdatering van waardasiesertifikate
Monitering van die status van aktiewe werkstukke
Onderhoud van die register vir tweedehandse juwele
Bestelling van kantoor- en verpakkingsmateriaal, asook sekere voorraaditems
Finalisering en kontrole van voltooide juwele gereed vir afhaal
Ondersteuning aan verkoopskonsultante
Opdatering van VAT264-vorms
Byhou van daaglikse goudprys en wisselkoerse
Algemene liassering en rekordhouding
🎓 Voorkeurkwalifikasies & Ondervinding
Matriek (Diploma in ’n rekeningkundige rigting is baie voordelig)
Minimum 3 jaar relevante ondervinding in ’n administratiewe rol met blootstelling aan finansies
Tweetalig (Afrikaans en Engels)
Ervaring met Xero (baie voordelig)
Ervaring met Notion en Google Drive (baie voordelig)
Uitstekende administratiewe en organisatoriese vaardighede
Eie betroubare vervoer en ’n geldige bestuurslisensie
