Requirements:
- 3–5 years+ experience in an IT support role
- Valid Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Microsoft MCSE certification
- A+ and N+ certifications
- Excellent fault-finding skills 🔧
- Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting techniques
Duties:
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Provide direct telephonic or face-to-face support to end-users to resolve IT-related issues
- Troubleshoot various system and network problems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Provide support including drawing up procedural documentation and technical reports
- Own tasks until resolution or escalate to senior staff if required
- Prioritize and manage inbound support emails
- Communicate with third-party vendors when necessary
Desired Skills and Attributes:
- Extensive experience in setting up and configuring computer systems 💻
- Strong knowledge of IT networking
- Understanding of CCTV systems
- Knowledge of UPS and power backup systems
- Experience in telephonic and video support
- Knowledge of server support on Microsoft Platforms
- Valid South African driver’s license 🚗
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Keen eye for detail 👀
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and problems
- Above-average communication, listening, and writing skills in English
- Customer-centric attitude
- Skilled in telephonic/video communication when assisting customers

- Geldige Matrieksertifikaat (Graad 12)
- Microsoft MCSE sertifikaat
- A+ en N+ sertifikate
- Uitstekende foutopsporingsvaardighede 🔧
- Omvattende kennis van probleemoplossingstegnieke
Verantwoordelikhede:
- Installeer en konfigureer rekenaarhardeware, bedryfstelsels en toepassings
- Monitor en onderhou rekenaarstelsels en netwerke
- Bied direkte telefoniese of persoonlike ondersteuning aan eindgebruikers om IT-kwessies op te los
- Los verskeie stelsel- en netwerkprobleme op
- Diagnoseer en herstel hardeware- en sagtewareprobleme
- Stel prosedurele dokumentasie en tegniese verslae op
- Neem verantwoordelikheid vir jou take tot hulle opgelos is of eskaleer na senior personeel indien nodig
- Prioritiseer en bestuur inkomende ondersteunings-e-posse
- Kommunikeer met derdeparty-verskaffers waar nodig
